Mobile Number Portability is a facility that allows you to change the operator within the same circle without changing your mobile number.
How much will it cost me?
Besides the Starter Kit cost, a porting fee of Rs. 19 is applicable
Can I switch from CDMA to GSM?
Yes, you can switch from CDMA to GSM and retain the same number. However you will need to have a GSM handset.
Can I switch from Postpaid to Prepaid?
Yes, provided you have paid all bills outstanding prior to porting request.
Can I carry my current balance?
No, with MNP, your previous balance, validity, Value Added Services (if any), or any other benefits will not be carried forward.
Can I cancel my porting request?
Yes, but within 24 hours of making the porting request. A written cancellation request has to be submitted only at a Uninor store.
